Kansas City, Missouri School District
Excellence Fund !

Established in May 1996, the School Board of Directors created the Kansas City, Missouri School District Excellence Fund to stimulate excellence by providing financial support and grants for special programs. Former Kansas City, Missouri School District attendees, graduates, teachers, foundations, corporations and other concerned individuals may make a donation to the fund by sending their tax-deductible contribution to the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation and earmarking it for the District’s Excellence Fund.

Excellence Fund Mission Statement

The Kansas City, Missouri School District Excellence Fund is a charitable fund of the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation supported by individuals, businesses and other organizations who seek to provide resources beyond tax funding to stimulate excellence in the Kansas City, Missouri School District by helping through special programs and funds to enhance the learning environment, to increase the effectiveness of instruction and to help strengthen ties between the schools and the community.
